On arrival at Annandale, one of their drivers will escort you on a spectacular 30-minute 4WD journey across the cliff-top farm tracks to this exclusive and remote villa, previously only enjoyed by generations of Annandale shepherds.
Today, it has been carefully restored and extended to ensure a romantic and memorable stay, without losing its historic charm.
Relax in the outside bathtub at the end of the day and snuggle up on the sheepskins in front of the open fire, before heading upstairs to the warm bedroom under the eaves.

Annandale is a private world set on the Banks Peninsula near Christchurch where rolling farmland, open skies and the sparkling waters of the Pacific greet you. Five distinct and luxurious villas are dotted across the 4,000-acre working coastal farm. Each one is perfectly positioned to ensure absolute privacy.
The villas can be booked individually or together to suit your accommodation needs, with a number of configurations available. The other four villas are Scrubby Bay, Seascape, The Homestead and The Stables.
Multi-villa properties can be hired individually or as a full property.

Just as the tide ebbs and flows, the seasons and colours of the 4,000-acre Annandale farm change throughout year, from luscious greens in spring to tussocky golds by autumn, and we encourage guests to explore and be as hands-on as they like:
The Annandale Highlights tour is a guided 4WD tour across the farm. Experience sheep dogs at work and enjoy the atmosphere of the shearing shed. If you’re lucky, you may even see the skilled shearers in action.
