Welcome to Sacred Space at Eagles Nest
A spectacular sub-tropical villa retreat perfect for multi-generational families or friends travelling together.
Nestled among New Zealand’s unique sub-tropical forest, this oasis boasts four casually elegant suites, all uniquely appointed with original artwork and antique furnishings.
The building and grounds are architecturally superb, with eclectic angles and light that make the most of the amazing views.
The large two storey glass-roofed living area transforms gracefully from relaxed living to formal dining and then into your own private movie theatre at night.
The generous master bedroom occupies the entire upstairs area and enjoys four exposures, all with superb views.
The open plan gourmet kitchen adjoins the dining and lounge areas all opening onto beautiful outdoor decks and living areas including a 20-metre heated infinity pool and spa, where there is another full bathroom, outdoor shower and adjoining sauna.
Eagles Nest is a world class villa retreat set in the stunning Bay of Islands. Designed and furnished in an eclectic contemporary style, the estate’s 75-acre gardens and lodgings blend into the natural topography and foliage. The villas are supported by talented resident personal chefs, massage and beauty therapists who will ensure the most indulgent of stays.
The properties can be booked individually or together to suit your accommodation needs, with a number of configurations available and a total capacity of 30 guests. Eagles Nest’s other villas are: Rahimoana, Eyrie, Eagle Spirit and First Light.
Multi-villa properties can be hired individually or as a full property.

Signature Experience
Kiwi walk at Eagles Nest
The beloved North Island Brown Kiwi can be found across Eagles Nest’s 75-acre property. One can often hear their distinctive call not long after dusk and before dawn.
Providing a habitat for these treasured flightless birds is the goal of Eagle Nest’s ongoing work to keep their peninsular predator-free.
For the best chance to see these unique flightless birds, guests are encouraged to take a self-guided walk around their villa just after dusk where kiwi can be heard calling. Each villa contains a ‘Kiwi Kit’, with red-light torches to guide the way.
Guests can also book a private guided kiwi walk, which takes place just after dusk for approximately one hour.
